Morphology
Cultures on PDA initially pale yellow to light brown, becoming floccose, dark grey to black; aerial mycelium producing masses of conidia. Conidiophores of two types; simple hyphal cells and a Graphium state. Conidia hyaline, obovoid to ellipsoid and somewhat variable in shape, 6,5-14 x 2-3 μm. Perithecia rare in culture.? Ascospores crescent-shaped, hyaline, 4,5-6 x 1,5 μm.
