Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): PstI--2.9, 2.4 (doublet), 1.5, 1.1, 0.8 (doublet), 0.6, 0.5; EcoRI--10.0, 2.6; AvaII--2.6, 1.5, 1.35, 1.1 (triplet), 0.6 + smaller bands. phbC and phbA can be recovered as a 2.0kb PstI fragment. phbC may be recovered as an approx. 1.2kb PstI/DdeI fragment. phbA may be recovered as an approx. 0.8kb PstI/AvaII fragment. |
