Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): HindIII--4.4, 1.3; EcoRI--5.7; EcoRI/HindIII--4.4, 1.3; SalI--5.7. The EcoRI and BclI polymorphisms appear to be due to the same event. The BclI, HphI, and Bsp1286 polymorphisms are occasionally different. HgiAI also reveals a 2-allele polymorphism (5.2 kb, 4.3 kb) but this has not been verified by pedigree studies. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism in a panel of 6 unrelated Caucasians: AccI, ApaLI, BglII, BstNI, EcoRV, HaeIII, HincII, HindIII, KpnI, MboI, PstI, PvuII, RsaI, Sau96I, ScaI, ScrfI, SstI, StyI, TaqI, XmnI. |
