This was isolated from a lambdagt10 cDNA library constructed by H. Gershenfeld and I. Weissman. Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--2.6, 2.3; BamHI--4.9; PstI--2.6, 2.0, 0.55; SalI--4.9. The insert contains a PstI site 0.7 kb from the 5' end. On the 5' side, the insert overlaps with about 2/3 of chicken v-myb sequences. The insert extends to nearly the 3' end of the mRNA. |
