Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI/SstI--23.0, 10, 3.1, 2.3, 2.15, 1.8; EcoRI--23.0, 14.0, 7.0, 6.5; SstI--24.0, 11.0, 5.8, 2.2; BglII--24.0, 7.4 (doublet), 2.1, 1.8, 1.3; HindIII--26.0, 6.0, 4.7, 3.9, 2.1; SalI--20.0, 9.0 doublet, 2.1. The 3.0 kb EcoRI/SacI fragment contains the following restriction sites (nt from the EcoRI site): PstI--41; BglII--484, 2735; PvuII--762, 1496; HindIII--880; XbaI--2338. A 3.0 kb 5' EcoRI/SacI 3' fragment contains the complete coding region (intron-free). The coding region extends from nt 277 to 1614 of this fragment. |
