Desulfovibrio desulfuricans (Beijerinck) Kluyver and van Niel
商品貨號
B193012
Strain Designations
G20
Application
Genome sequencing strain
Isolation
Derived from existing strain. Isolate G20 was derived in two steps from strain G100A: First, a spontaneously nalidixic acid resistant derivative was obtained and designated G200. Then, G200 was cured of the 2.3-kb cryptic plasmid [pBG1] and designated G20. The parent strain, G100A, was isolated from a producing oil well in Ventura County, California.
Biosafety Level
1
Biosafety classification is based on U.S. Public Health Service Guidelines, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their facilities comply with biosafety regulations for their own country.
