Morphology
Colonies are fast growing on standard agars, usually dense and prostrate but occasionally with white fluffy aerial mycelium. Hyphae are branched, 15-70 μm wide in water, generally aseptate except where reproductive organs are delimited. Zoosporangia are generally filiform and terminal, 60-450 x 20-55 μm, renewed by basal proliferation or more rarely sympodially.
