Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): PstI--2.7, 4.3; HindIII--7.0; EcoRI--7.0; SalI--7.0. This clone is of the same DNA segment as pYNZ22 (ATCC 57574) and detects the same polymorphism. The TaqI polymorphism demonstrates codominant segregation in 60 families. Isolated from cosmid JCZ3 isolated by zeta-globin oligonucleotide; RFLPs observed under normal stringency (0.1X SSC). |
