The Galicia isolate of Cryptosporidium parvum is a genotype II isolate was collected from the feces of a naturally infected Friesian calf, Bos taurus, in July 1998 in Galicia, Spain. Oocysts were submitted for DNA extraction by Dr. Elvira Ares-Mazas. |
