Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): NotI--5.5, 2.3; BamHI--3.7, 2.3, 1.8; HindIII--5.0, 1.8, 0.9; PstI--4.3, 2.4, 0.6, 0.5; XbaI--7.2, 0.6. The insert contains the following restriction sites (approximate kb from the 5' end): BamHI--0.74; HindIII--1.49; NdeI--1.76; PstI--0.59, 1.58; XmnI--1.38, 1.5; XbaI--1.86. Detects a transcript of approximately 4.5 kb in human spleen, thymus and in the human cell line WI-26VA4. pDC302 is a mammalian expression vector containing promoter and enhancer sequences from SV40 and CMV, leader sequences from adenovirus 2 followed by a multiple cloning site, SV40 polyadenylation and termination signals and adenovirus genes VAI and VAII. |
