A BamHI digest will give a 0.6 kb fragment containing the insert, and a BamHI/PstI double digest will give a 0.55 kb fragment containing the insert. Insert contains the following sites separated by (bp)(approximate): PstI- 155- HpaII- 80- PvuII- 20- EcoRV- 135- BamHI. Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--3.0, 0.6; XhoI--2.9, 0.72; SalI--3.5; BglI--2.4, 1.15; PstI--2.19, 1.25. Contains the 3' half of a cDNA from an unknown gene in the H-2S:H-2D interval of mouse chromosome 17. The I.29 cell line was derived from a spontaneous B-cell ascites tumor that originated in an I/St/Boy mouse. |
