DNA was isolated from oocysts of Cryptosporidium muris, 108735 isolate, obtained originally from the feces of a 5 year old female rock hyrax housed at the National Zoological Park Zoo in July of 1993. This was designated as case number 93-1677. Since 1993, the isolate has been passed continuously at University of Idaho, in juvenile laboratory mice. The library represents DNA obtained from oocytes collected after the 16th passage in mice. |
