Biosafety classification is based on U.S. Public Health Service Guidelines, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their facilities comply with biosafety regulations for their own country.

The ATCC® Drug-Resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa Panel (ATCC® MP-23™) comprises seven strains that have been tested against a variety of drug classes, including the penicillins, cephalosporins, carbapenems, quinolones, and aminoglycosides. These strains were isolated from human sputum samples and demonstrate resistance to as many as 13 antibiotics.
