Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--9.2; XhoI--9.2; SalI--9.2. YC-type shuttle enhancer-cloning vector using beta-galactosidase activity as the reporter. The UAS has been deleted from the CYC1 promoter, so expression of a CYC1-lacZ fusion protein depends on UAS elements cloned into the polylinker region. The order of the major features in this plasmid is: MCS - CYC - lacZ - pMB1 ori - ampR - URA3 - ARS1 - SUP11 - CEN4. |
