Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): XbaI--20.0, 19.0, 9.2; SacI--20.0, 11.0, 9.2, 2.5, 1.5, 1.0, 0.78; SmaI--20.0, 8.8, 5.8, 3.1, 2.7, 1.2, 1.1, 0.74, 0.45; PvuI--23.0, 12.0, 2.9, 2.1, 1.7; HindIII--23.0, 9.2, 7.4, 4.7; BamHI--18.0, 10.5, 9.2, 4.2, 2.2. The insert contains the following restriction sites (approximate kb from the 5' end): HindIII--0.5, 5.0, 12.3; BamHI--2.1, 12.1, 16.1. Encodes the G3m(b) allotype. A 0.9 kb HindIII/SacI fragment contains the exon encoding CH1, and a 2.0 kb SacI/SphI fragment (pSH3Cgamma3, ATCC 59624, 59625) contains exons encoding the hinge, CH2, and CH3 regions. Source of the following subclones: pSH2-gamma3 (ATCC 59620, 59621), pSgamma3h (ATCC 59622, 59623), pSH3-gamma3 (ATCC 59624, 59625). |
