Derived from pHG15 which was constructed by inserting a SalI fragment from an lambdaEMBL3 library into pGEM-5Z. pHG4.5 is a circularized NcoI fragment from pHG15, and thus retains lambdaEMBL3 sequences from SalI to the 5' end of the insert.
