Contains the complete "coding" sequence which demonstrates high homology to calmodulin II-type cDNA (nt 905-1349 of the published sequence).
Contains a target site duplication of 17 bp characteristic of retropseudogenes, and 3 copies of a tandemly arranged 34 bp direct repeat in the upstream region.
