Shuttle vector permitting visual detection of recombinants. The partition locus from Agrobacterium plasmid pTAR stabilizes the plasmid in X. citri and X. campestris pvs. campestris, vesicatoria, malvacearum, and translucens grown in broth culture. The order of the major features in this plasmid is: lacZalpha with MCS (pUC18) - oriW (pSa747, IncW) - parA+ (pUCD550) - aphA (pUC4Kan) - mob(P) (pLAFR3, Mob+). |
