Morphology
After 7 days on Potato carrot agar at 45°C, colonies are appressed, hyaline, sporulation observed as a raised, dark brown granular ring midway between the center of the colony and the expanding mycelium. Ascomata gregarious, globose, dark brown with dark brown lateral hairs. Ascospores subglobose, dark brown, with visible scar.
