Morphology
On Emerson YpSs medium at 45°C after 6 days, mycelium white to dingy white becoming grayish black as conidia develop, velvety to cottony, dense, exudate black. Reverse black. Hyphae hyaline, guttulate. Arthroconidia globose to ellipsoidal sometimes pyriform, hyaline becoming reddish brown, smooth to faintly roughened, guttulate, intercalary and terminal, single and in chains, 12-16.5 X 6.3-7.5 μm.
