Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--6.6; PstI--3.5, 0.99, 0.83, 0.58, 0.47; BamHI--6.6; EcoRI/HindIII--2.5, 2.0, 1.85; HindIII--4.2, 1.85; consistent with deposited DNA. An EcoRI/HindIII double digest shows insert fragment sizes of 2.0 and 1.8 kb. Codominant segregation of the MspI RFLP was observed in 41 three-generation families. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: BamHI, HindIII, PstI, PvuII, RsaI and TaqI. |
