Morphology
After 10 days in YM broth at 25°C, cells are subglobose to ellipsoidal (2-4 x 2-4 μm) and occur singly, in pairs or in small clusters. Pseudohyphae and true hyphae are not present. After 10 days on YM agar at 25°C, colonies are white to cream-colored, butyrous and smooth with entire margins.
