HCC1599 BL is a B lymphoblastoid cell line initiated by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) transformation of peripheral blood lymphocytes obtained from the same patient as HCC1599. HCC1599 was derived from a 44 year-old White female with primary ductal carcinoma of the breast. DNA isolated from HCC1599 is available as ATCC CRL-2331D.
