| Comments |
Live marker vaccine of PRV attenuated by deletions in thymidine kinase gene. Also has deletion of PRV g92 (gIII) gene. Cultivate virus at an m.o.i. of 0.01 PFU/ml in rab cell culture at 34.5C. Harvest. Sonicate prior to infecting new cells. Virus replicates at 39C but does not induce thymidine kinase activity or a late glycoprotein due to deletion mutations. |
