The insert contains the following restriction sites (approximate kb from the 5' end): EcoRI--1.1, 3.3, 4.2, 5.6, 7.4, 9.0, 14.1, 15.0; KpnI--1.3, 10.0; HindIII--2.8, 4.2, 6.5, 8.2, 10.5, 13.3; BamHI--12.5; XhoI--8.0. Contains a functional rearrangement of V2 (subgroup I) and JP1. A portion of the EcoRI/HindIII fragment (1.1-2.8 kb from the 5' end) was sequenced to demonstrate a join through a N-diversity region.
