Complete Growth Medium

Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium with 4 mM L-glutamine that is modified by ATCC to contain 4.5 g/L glucose and 1.5 g/L sodium bicarbonates supplemented with 1.5 mM L-glutamine, 0.05 mM 2-mercaptoethanol, 10 mM HEPES, 116mg/L L-arginine HCl, 41 mg/L L-asparagine.H2O and 10% heat-inactivated fetal bovine serum

Subculturing

Protocol: Cultures can be maintained by the addition of fresh medium or replacement of medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 2 to 8 X 10(4) viable cells/ml.

Interval: Maintain cell density between 1 X 10(5) and 1 X 10(6) viable cells/ml.

Medium Renewal: Add fresh medium every 2 to 3 days (depending on cell density)
