A vector which contains REP1, REP2, REP3 and ori sequences from yeast 2 micron plasmid and the triose phosphate isomerase gene from Schizosaccharomyces pombe (POT1). POT1 provides for plasmid maintenance in triose phosphate deficient hosts.
