A 6.4 kb SmaI fragment of this construct (62 bp 5' untranslated, the coding sequence, through 2.0 kb of the right arm of lambdagt10) was inserted into pSAD and transfected into COS-7 cells. Immunoreactive membrane protein was detected.

The insert includes nucleotides 328-4848 of the composite cDNA sequence, encompassing about 115 bp 5' untranslated, the complete coding sequence of 3621 bp, and 791 bp of 3' untranslated sequence.
