flhDC的表達使得沙門氏菌能夠入侵腫瘤細胞，設計PsseJLysE電路不依賴于外部干預而觸發蛋白質的釋放，并使得在入侵腫瘤細胞后菌株自行裂解，防止了對生物體的不良反應，同時將編碼蛋白質藥物的基因引入沙門氏菌，使得菌株裂解后液泡釋放蛋白質對腫瘤進行定點治療。
